They are now seeking a dedicated individual to join the team as a School Finance Officer.

Role Purpose:

As a School Finance Officer at Dilworth School, you’ll work alongside the Finance Manager to manage daily financial operations and administrative tasks. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth financial systems and supporting various departments within the school.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage invoicing, receipting, and follow-up for school and non-tenant debtors.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to address issues related to specific Senior Leadership Team Member Departments.
  • Provide support for payroll processing and assist with financial reporting.
  • Aid in operational and administrative tasks for the Trust Board Finance Manager.
  • Contribute to budgeting processes and provide support to budget holders for key school departments.
  • Coordinate with the School Property Team on projects related to school buildings and assets.
  • Support business and commercial initiatives, including procurement and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including the use of financial management software systems.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in finance or administration roles.
  • Proficiency in financial management software systems, with experience in Yardi being advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to upholding Dilworth School’s values and ethos.
  • You must be residing in New Zealand and have valid working rights to be considered for the position
