  • The Finance Unit is recruiting an Assistant Accountant – Banking to join the team on a continuing basis.

About the role

  • As the Assistant Accountant – Banking you will join the team and support them in efficiently processing all of the University’s banking transition within our ERP system. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial part in financial operations, contribute to transformative projects, and build meaningful relationships both internally and externally.

Degree in Accounting

  • Understanding of accounting principles, their implementation requirements and effects
  • Strong understanding of the accounting transaction information cycle, from transaction generation, the data flow, interconnectivity of systems to the impact and effects on the reported numbers
  • Good understanding of transaction banking processes
  • Experience of working in a financial accounting role
  • Proficient user of large ERP systems

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $91,254 to $98,805 pa (HEW 6)
  • This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

  • This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
